With Abanista Open Box Inspection, the delivery associate will unpack your order package at the time of delivery for your inspection. This ensures that you receive the correct product, free from damages, and with all necessary accessories.

What is Open Box Inspection?

If your order is eligible, the delivery associate will unpack your package at the time of delivery and help you inspect the contents. You can confirm the product’s correctness, check for damages, and ensure all accessories are included before accepting the delivery.

What happens during the delivery?

At delivery, the associate will:

  1. Unpack the product in your presence.
  2. For heavy or bulky items, place the product in a room of your choice.
  3. Allow you to visually inspect the product for damages, missing accessories, or incorrect items.
  4. Record the Open Box Inspection status as “successful” or “failed.”

Note: Open Box Inspection doesn’t include functional or working checks. A responsible adult must be present during delivery to perform the inspection.

What happens if I don’t find any issues with the product?

If the product is correct, damage-free, and includes all accessories, you’ll be asked to confirm the inspection by sharing a 6-digit OTP with the delivery associate. Once shared, the delivery is considered complete, and returns for incorrect or damaged items won’t be accepted.


Open Box Inspection Terms and Conditions

  1. Applicability: This service is available for pre-paid orders of select products such as smartphones, laptops, cameras, TVs, and large appliances in eligible locations.
  2. Inspection Process: You must inspect the product in the presence of the delivery associate. The inspection includes checking physical appearance and accessories but excludes functionality tests.
  3. Completion Confirmation: Delivery is confirmed when you share the OTP provided via email or SMS.
  4. No Returns Post-Inspection: Returns for physical damages or missing parts will not be accepted after successful inspection.
  5. Functionality Issues Post-Delivery: For any functional defects identified within 10 days of delivery, contact Abanista Customer Support for resolution or replacement.
  6. Changes: Abanista reserves the right to modify or discontinue this service at any time.

How to Use Open Box Inspection

  1. Check Eligibility: Products eligible for Open Box Inspection will display a message on the product page.
  2. Inspection at Delivery: Unpack and inspect the product at the time of delivery before sharing the OTP.
  3. Ineligible Products: Open Box Inspection is not available for cash-on-delivery orders or certain categories.
